CM Approves Sports Hostel at Nehru Stadium to Support Young Athletes

Gurugram’s popular MLA, Mukesh Sharma, organized a grand “Viksit Maharally.” Haryana’s Honorable Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, was also present at the event. The large turnout made the rally truly memorable.

The objective of the Viksit Maharally was to further the resolve of a developed Haryana and a developed Gurugram. Addressing the gathering, Mukesh Sharma stated that Gurugram is not only an industrial and economic hub but also has a strong identity in sports talent. He specifically mentioned Nehru Stadium and Gurugram’s rich hockey tradition.

MLA Mukesh Sharma said that the city has an excellent sports facility in the form of Nehru Stadium, and its hockey teams have consistently performed well at the national level. Keeping this in mind, he put forward a appeal to build a new sports hostel at Nehru Stadium for talented players, especially children, so they can receive better training, accommodation, and opportunities to grow.

Responding positively to this request, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced from the stage that a sports hostel would be constructed at Nehru Stadium. He stated that the Haryana Government is committed to promoting sports and supporting athletes, and that sports infrastructure in cities like Gurugram will be further strengthened.
