Gurugram Viksit Maharally: 16 Major Projects Announced


December 30, 2025, will be remembered as a landmark day in the political and social history of Gurugram. On this special occasion, the popular Member of Legislative Assembly from Gurugram, Mukesh Sharma, organized a grand “Viksit Maharally” to mark his birthday. This event was not merely a birthday celebration; it represented a powerful step toward realizing the vision of a Developed Gurugram and a Developed Haryana.

The historic rally was graced by the Honorable Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, as the Chief Guest. Along with him, several prominent leaders, public representatives, and distinguished personalities from the state and the nation shared the stage. Thousands of 

people from Gurugram and nearby areas participated in the rally. The enthusiasm and energy of the massive crowd reflected the deep trust people have in their leadership.

When MLA Mukesh Sharma stepped onto the stage to address the gathering, the entire venue echoed with applause and slogans. He received a grand and heartfelt welcome. Beginning his speech, he expressed sincere gratitude to the people and stated that such overwhelming love and support inspire him to work with even greater dedication for the development of Gurugram. His address was filled with passion, vision, and a clear roadmap for progress.

During his speech, Mukesh Sharma presented several important demands before Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on behalf of the residents of Gurugram, describing them as “gifts of development for the people of Gurugram.” He highlighted that hockey is played at a very high level in Gurugram, yet there is a severe shortage of modern hostel facilities for players. With better accommodation and training infrastructure, Gurugram could reach new heights in the field of sports.

He also demanded the construction of grand welcome gates in the names of Guru Dronacharya and Mata Sheetla Devi to further strengthen the city’s historical, cultural, and religious identity. Additionally, he raised the issue of ensuring property registration, electricity meters, and all basic civic amenities in areas such as Rajiv Nagar, the 900 Meter Area, Sheetla Colony, Ashok Vihar Phase 2/3, Sukhraali, and several other colonies.

Following this, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini addressed the gathering. He congratulated Mukesh Sharma for the successful organization of the grand rally and extended warm birthday wishes to him. Welcoming the public, the Chief Minister stated that such massive public support further strengthens the direction of development in the state. He praised Mukesh Sharma’s leadership and acknowledged his consistent efforts in strongly presenting Gurugram’s concerns before the government.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced several historic development initiatives for Gurugram. Under strengthened healthcare services, he announced the launch of 30 Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in Gurugram in the near future. He also declared that construction of the Civil Hospital would begin soon, and the Wazirabad Primary Health Centre would be upgraded into a 50 bed hospital.

In terms of urban and community development, announcements included the early completion of Maitri Van in Wazirabad village, construction of a cremation ground in Rajendra Park, community centers in Kamla Nehru Park and Silokhra, and development of Sadar Bazaar on the lines of a smart market. To improve traffic and transportation, plans were announced for a modern city bus terminal in Sector 29, a city bus depot and terminal at the old bus stand, and the construction of over 100 kilometers of smart roads.

In the fields of education and sports, the Chief Minister announced the construction of a new modern school building at Garhshala Ground, a new sports hostel at Nehru Stadium in place of the old hostel, and a modern library in the Biodiversity Park, Sector 53. Additionally, he announced the development of a grand Khad Dham on one acre of land, construction of welcome gates in the names of Guru Dronacharya and Mata Sheetla Devi, and the inauguration of a multi level car parking facility in Sadar Bazaar, built at a cost of ₹55.20 crore, calling it a New Year gift for the people of Gurugram.

Overall, the Chief Minister announced the inauguration and foundation laying of six development projects worth ₹113 crore. These projects include an RMC model road and drain in Sector 16, sewerage and drinking water pipelines in Sector 17A, hostel construction in Sector 16, special repair work in the new vegetable market, the multi level car parking in Sadar Bazaar, and a community center in Sector 14.

The Viksit Maharally emerged as a powerful symbol of Gurugram’s bright future. The enthusiasm of the people, the commitment of leadership, and the clarity of development plans clearly indicate that Gurugram is rapidly moving forward on the path of progress.
