CM Approves City Bus Depot at Old Bus Stand, Gurugram for Better Connectivity
Gurugram’s popular MLA, Mukesh Sharma organised a grand Viksit Maharally, turning the celebration into a platform for public engagement and development focused discussions. The rally witnessed a massive turnout from Gurugram and surrounding areas and was graced by the presence of Haryana’s Honorable Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
The Viksit Maharally highlighted the vision of Viksit Gurugram and Viksit Haryana, with a strong focus on urban infrastructure, transport facilities, and public convenience. Addressing the gathering, Mukesh Sharma MLA Gurugram thanked citizens for their support and reiterated his commitment to strengthening civic amenities across the city.
During the rally, Mukesh Sharma raised an important appeal related to public transportation. He proposed the development of a city bus depot and modern terminal at the old bus stand, along with additional public facilities to improve daily commuting in Gurugram. He emphasized that a well planned bus depot and terminal would reduce traffic congestion, enhance connectivity, and provide better services to commuters.
Responding positively, Honorable Chief Minister Nayab Saini approved the proposal and made an official announcement for the development of a city bus depot, terminal, and related facilities at the old bus stand. The Chief Minister stated that strengthening public transport infrastructure is a key priority for the Haryana government, especially in rapidly growing cities like Gurugram.
CM Nayab Saini further added that modern transport hubs help reduce dependency on private vehicles and contribute to sustainable urban development. The announcement was welcomed with enthusiasm by residents, transport workers, and local stakeholders.
