CM Approves Cremation Ground at Rajendra Park, for Public Convenience and Safety
Gurugram’s popular MLA, Mukesh Sharma organised a large scale Viksit Maharally, turning the celebration into a platform for public welfare and development. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents across Gurugram and was honoured by the presence of Haryana’s Honorable Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
The Viksit Maharally focused on the vision of Viksit Gurugram and Viksit Haryana, addressing key civic issues and long pending public appeals. Addressing the gathering, Mukesh Sharma MLA Gurugram thanked the people for their continued support and reaffirmed his commitment to improving essential public infrastructure.
During the rally, Mukesh Sharma raised a crucial appeal for the residents of Rajendra Park the construction of a cremation ground (Shamshan Bhoomi) in the locality. He highlighted that for many years, local families were forced to cross a railway gate to reach the nearest cremation facility, causing hardship, delays, and emotional distress, especially during emergencies.
Taking immediate note of the concern, Honorable Chief Minister Nayab Saini announced the approval for a new cremation ground at Rajendra Park. He stated that the Haryana government is committed to providing basic civic amenities within accessible distance and ensuring dignity and convenience for citizens during sensitive times.
The announcement brought visible relief and happiness among the residents of Rajendra Park. Local people expressed gratitude, saying that the new cremation ground would eliminate the need to cross the railway crossing and would significantly ease difficulties faced by families.
